Dr. Carla Kim is a Professor of Genetics at the Boston Children’s Hospital and a Principal Investigator at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. Her lab research focuses on characterizing the biology of stem cells in normal lung and lung cancer.

Her recent paper, published in Nature Communications, found that an epigenetic therapy meant to target lung cancer may actually increase the number of cancer stem cells.
