Dr. Stephanie Willerth is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Canada Research Chair at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. She heads an interdisciplinary research group that focuses on tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Specifically, her lab uses stem cell-based bioengineering to develop novel tools, including biomaterial scaffolds, to reproducibly engineer neural tissue from pluripotent stem cells.
