Dr. Kristen Brennand is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She uses stem cell, genomic and epigenomic approaches to study how genetic variants impact cellular function and underly risk to neuropsychiatric disease, namely schizophrenia.

Her recent paper in Science investigates the role of the brain’s 3D chromosomal structure on genetic risk for schizophrenia.
