Dr. Nazish Sayed is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute. His team uses iPSCs to generate patient-specific vascular cells, which they use for scalable and sustainable research and to investigate the effects of chemotherapeutic agents. Work from the lab has led to seminal discoveries in the areas of nitric oxide biology, vascular biology, stem cell biology, cardiovascular disease modeling, and cardio-oncology.
