Dr. Nicolas Rivron is a Principal Investigator at the Institute of Molecular Biotechnology of the Austrian Academy of Science.  His team researches how self-organization contributes to coordinated cellular decision-making during development. They use high-throughput microsystems, single-cell genomics, single-cell high-content imaging, and synthetic biology to observe both blastocysts and blastoids and investigate how self-organization contributes to multicellular patterning and cellular decision-making.
