Dr. Ryan Flynn is an Assistant Professor at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Harvard Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology. The Flynn lab develops chemical tools to study the interface of RNA biology and glycobiology in the context of cell state transitions and cell-cell communication. They recently made the surprising observation that specific RNAs in mammalian cells are modified with glycans.
