The Stem Cell Science Round Up
Stem Cells in Wound Healing – Scientists found that Lgr6 epidermal stem cells interact with nerves and specialize in wound resurfacing.
A ‘Telescope’ Model for Hair Follicle Development – Researchers used long-term live imaging and single-cell transcriptomics to study the development of mouse whisker hair follicles.
Base Editing Rescues Sickle Cell Disease – Scientists used base editing to correct the mutation that causes Sickle Cell Disease in HSPCs from patients.
